I always start with Aymeric in the top right corner because that seems to work best no matter what he starts with or if you get to start first. Best case scenario is for him to start with Cid in the top left corner and then use Aymeric opposite to bait out his Phlegethos to get a Plus. Take the Phlegethos with Estinien and when he takes that card using CoD, take back Estinien with Ysayle and then capture CoD and the rest is easy enough to wipe up.
